In science class we're doing build projects again. This time we had to build some sorry of solar oven to cook a smore in. My group used a box with a hole cut in the top and lined with tinfoil on the inside. However that didn't really work, so we wound up opening the box and using a magnifying glass to burn the marshmallows. It started to work, but since it took so much time we only managed to cook one. Next time I'd like to find a way to somehow get the heat to focus on a bigger area to cook the marshmallows, since you have to have a pretty tiny light to actually cook it.

A broken angel who fell from the sky
A girl who lost her wings
Someone who doesn't belong
Isn't loved, or cared for in any way
Someone who glows in the dark,
But lives in a place where everyone is blindfolded
Something so rare and precious
A girl who was absolutely shattered,
But created a masterpiece

We just finished presenting our animal adaptations!
Mine was a "Faron", a cross between a ferret and a dragon.
We also did animal business cards, and we're starting to create a driving question for our passion projects.
The topic I'm doing for my passion project is depression/self-harm/suicide. I'm still not sure what my driving question will be yet though. ^-^
